As owners of the Bezanson Family Site our goal is to make available as much information as possible about our common genealogy and history. This shared heritage is yours to enjoy and share. This site cannot exist without information, the same information tucked away in our family Bibles, our grandparents' stories, our memories. Share them with us. Share them with the world.

This site contains data on Bezansons from all over the world. Our own Bezanson cluster is from Moser River and the surrounding area on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia. This land is rough, unsuitable for farming, but the first families to this area were self-sustaining, much as they are today. As 9th & 10th generation Canadians we have a deep-rooted sense of pride in our roots but as those 8 generations before us we are mobile, moving to meet new opportunities. Watch our History section evolve as it weaves the tale of our ancestors from the arrival of Jean George Besançon in 1752 to the current generation and hopefully beyond. It will take time; much time...
